Job Description

Are you passionate about fashion trends and have an eagle eye for detail? ASOS is seeking a dedicated Fashion Data Labeler to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in categorizing and tagging fashion-related images and product data, ensuring our systems accurately reflect the latest styles and consumer preferences. This is a crucial position that directly impacts our ability to deliver personalized experiences and cutting-edge fashion to our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately label and tag fashion product images and related data according to defined guidelines and taxonomies.
  • Identify and apply relevant fashion trend tags (e.g., 'Y2K', 'cottagecore', 'utility', 'oversized') to products.
  • Maintain high levels of data quality and consistency, regularly reviewing work for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with data quality and product teams to refine labeling guidelines and improve processes.
  • Stay updated on current fashion trends, styles, and terminology to enhance labeling precision.
  • Meet daily and weekly labeling quotas while adhering to quality standards.
  • Provide feedback on labeling tools and processes to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current trends and styles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computers and comfortable learning new software and tools.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills, crucial for a remote work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus over extended periods.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, data labeling, or quality assurance, especially in a fashion or e-commerce context.
  • Academic background or professional experience in fashion design, merchandising, or journalism.
  • Familiarity with various fashion categories, fabrics, and product attributes.
  • Experience working with content management systems or product information management (PIM) tools.
