Job Description
Join FedEx Ground as a Support Associate and become an essential part of our operations team in Oceanside, CA. This role is perfect for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient movement of packages through our facility, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading packages from vehicles and trailers.
- Sort and scan packages according to destination and shipping requirements.
- Operate package handling equipment safely and efficiently after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) frequently, and up to 75 lbs (34 kg) occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physical labor role (not required, but a plus).
- Experience with scanning technology or package tracking systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
