Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Specialist to join our Professional Services team in Cherry Creek, Denver. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. You will support the smooth operation of our office, ensuring that all guests and internal staff receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor, directing them to the appropriate personnel or meeting rooms.
- Manage incoming calls, screen and direct them to the correct department or individual, and take messages accurately.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the professional image of the firm.
- Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms, ensuring they are set up with necessary equipment and refreshments.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, scanning, filing, and preparing documents.
- Assist with office supply inventory management and ordering.
- Process visitor registrations and issue temporary access badges.
- Liaise with building management and vendors for office maintenance and services.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent vocational training.
- Experience working in a professional services environment (e.g., consulting, legal, finance).
