Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional, experienced, and discreet High Net Worth Household Driver to provide stable, long-term transportation services for a discerning private household client of Bank of America Private Bank in Stamford, Connecticut. This is a crucial role requiring exceptional driving skills, an impeccable service ethic, and a deep understanding of privacy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will ensure safe, punctual, and comfortable travel for the principals and their guests, managing vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and route planning with meticulous attention to detail. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to join a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in personal service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, and reliable transportation for principals and their guests to various destinations, including appointments, events, airports, and personal engagements.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times, respecting the privacy of the household.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic, weather conditions, and principal's preferences.
- Ensure all vehicles are meticulously clean, well-maintained, and fueled, conducting regular inspections and coordinating necessary servicing and repairs.
- Manage vehicle registrations, insurance, and compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist with errands, package deliveries, and other household-related transportation needs as required.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and expense reports.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel, as dictated by the household's needs.
- Liaise effectively with household staff and principals to coordinate schedules and special requests.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably for high-net-worth individuals or executive clientele.
- Valid and clean Connecticut driver's license with an impeccable driving record.
- Proven ability to navigate confidently in various traffic conditions and understand local geography (Stamford, NYC metro area).
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Knowledge of luxury vehicle operation and basic maintenance.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage and packages as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in executive protection or defensive driving techniques.
- Familiarity with private aviation protocols and airport drop-off/pickup procedures.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation applications.
