Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Downstream Specialist to join our dynamic team in Irvine, CA. This entry-level role is designed for ambitious individuals looking to build a robust career in the downstream oil and gas sector, specifically within refinery operations and engineering support. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers and specialists in analyzing refinery process data and operational performance.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives and debottlenecking projects.
- Participate in the review of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to refinery units.
- Conduct field observations and data collection to support project analysis and problem-solving.
- Learn and apply industry best practices for safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
