Job Description
Join SkipTheDishes as an independent Last-Mile Bike Courier in Dundas, Ontario, and become an essential part of our mission to deliver delicious meals to our customers’ doors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, navigating their city, and earning money on their own schedule. As a bike courier, you will be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them efficiently and courteously to customers within your designated delivery zone. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals who are comfortable on a bike and committed to providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food orders from various restaurants in the Dundas area.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customer locations using a bicycle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and our support team.
- Manage delivery routes using a smartphone application.
Required Skills
- Ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Own a reliable bicycle and smartphone (iOS or Android).
- Familiarity with using navigation apps.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Good knowledge of the Dundas area street network.
