Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Last-Mile Delivery Drivers for afternoon and evening shifts in Boulder, CO. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to Amazon customers. This role involves navigating various routes, interacting with customers in a professional manner, and ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Efficiently load, unload, and deliver packages to customers' homes and businesses.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as needed.
- Use handheld devices for navigation, package tracking, and customer communication.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of entering and exiting a delivery vehicle multiple times a day.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology and GPS navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery or transportation.
- Familiarity with the Boulder, CO area and surrounding regions.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
