Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Member Support Pro with a strong focus on career advancement to join our dynamic team in Greensboro, NC. In this hybrid role, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, guiding them through their financial journey and providing exceptional support. Beyond resolving immediate inquiries, you will proactively identify opportunities to help members leverage our resources and services to achieve their long-term career and financial goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for member inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Actively listen to member needs, diagnose issues, and provide comprehensive solutions, often requiring in-depth knowledge of various financial products and services.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to discuss members' career aspirations and connect them with relevant Lincoln Financial Group resources, tools, and educational content.
  • Educate members on the benefits and features of our career development programs, financial planning tools, and other value-added services.
  • Document all member interactions accurately and maintain detailed records in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product specialists, career counselors, financial advisors) to ensure seamless member experience and effective problem resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and career guidance skills.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of member support processes and resources.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong client-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to empathize with members and build rapport effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to find solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, member support, or a call center environment, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience in career counseling, coaching, or guiding individuals towards professional development.
  • Knowledge of financial products, retirement plans, or insurance.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
