Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Mobile Car Battery Tester to join our team in Shirley, Southampton. This is an entry-level position focused on performing simple diagnostic tasks related to car batteries. As a Mobile Car Battery Tester, you will be dispatched to customer locations to test and assess vehicle battery health, provide immediate diagnostic feedback, and offer suitable solutions. No prior extensive automotive experience is required, as full training will be provided for the diagnostic equipment and procedures. This role is perfect for individuals who are mechanically inclined, possess excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working independently on the go.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations within the Southampton area to perform mobile car battery diagnostic tests.
- Utilise specialised diagnostic tools to accurately assess battery health and performance.
- Clearly explain diagnostic results to customers and recommend appropriate next steps, such as battery replacement or further vehicle checks.
- Provide basic roadside assistance related to battery issues, including jump starts or simple battery swaps if required and trained.
- Maintain accurate records of all diagnostic tests, services performed, and customer interactions.
- Manage and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service.

- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
