Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Office Furniture Assembler to join our dynamic team for corporate gigs in the Downtown Birmingham area. This role involves the professional assembly and installation of various types of office furniture, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction. You will work on-site at various corporate client locations, playing a crucial role in setting up modern, efficient workspaces. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess good manual dexterity, and are looking for high-paying, project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematic diagrams for various office furniture pieces.
- Assemble and install a wide range of office furniture including desks, chairs, cubicles, storage units, and conference tables.
- Ensure all furniture is assembled securely, correctly, and to the highest quality standards.
- Transport tools and equipment to client sites and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly or installation issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during assembly and installation.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy furniture components.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites within the Birmingham area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture assembly, carpentry, or a related field.
