Job Description

Join the Southwest Airlines team as a Part-time Passenger Service Agent, focusing on weekend operations at our local aviation hub. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including bag drop and ticketing.
  • Verify travel documents and ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Provide boarding assistance, manage gate procedures, and make announcements.
  • Handle passenger inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information regarding flights and airport services.
  • Coordinate with ground crew and flight attendants to ensure timely departures.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols and company policies.
  • Operate airport equipment as required (e.g., jet bridge, baggage handling systems after training).

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
