Job Description
Join the INTEGRIS Health team as a Patient Transport Aide specializing in non-emergency services. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients using appropriate equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds, to and from various hospital departments.
- Assist patients with safe transfers to and from transport equipment, ensuring proper body mechanics and patient security.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, their families, and medical staff to coordinate transport and address any concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of transport equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Respond promptly to transport requests and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet hospital needs.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient privacy (HIPAA) regulations.
- Provide empathetic support and reassurance to patients during their transport experience.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to push, pull, lift, and maneuver patients and equipment throughout shifts.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (training available upon hire).
- Previous experience in a customer service role or an environment requiring direct public interaction.
