You will be instrumental in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients.
- Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and processing returns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as CVS Health policies and procedures.
- Prepare and process medication refills and new prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Handle and resolve patient issues related to prescriptions and payments.
- Learn and apply knowledge of brand and generic drugs.
