Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pinterest API Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial technical remote role responsible for integrating, optimizing, and maintaining our platforms and our merchants’ stores with the Pinterest API. You will leverage your expertise to enhance our e-commerce solutions, drive marketing efficiency, and unlock new opportunities for our merchants on the Pinterest platform. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations with the Pinterest API, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and developers to define requirements for Pinterest-related features and solutions.
- Implement and optimize Pinterest Ads API, Catalog API, Conversion API, and other relevant Pinterest endpoints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pinterest integrations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor API performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement scaling solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest API changes, best practices, and new features, proactively adapting our strategies and implementations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and merchants regarding Pinterest API capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for API integrations and technical processes.
Required Skills
- Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Pinterest API (Ads API, Catalog API, Conversion API).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, PHP) for API development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding of online retail business logic.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics, tracking pixels, and conversion measurement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media platform APIs (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures.
