Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, observant, and enjoy evaluating customer service? Ipsos is seeking independent Secret Shopping Contractors to assess the quality of service, product displays, and overall customer experience at various retail, restaurant, and service locations in and around Fremont, CA. This is a 1099 contract position offering flexible scheduling – you work when you want, choosing assignments that fit your availability. You will play a crucial role in providing valuable feedback that helps businesses improve their customer interactions and operational standards. No prior experience is required; we provide all necessary training and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and complete assigned secret shopping missions within specified deadlines.
- Visit designated businesses as a regular customer, observing and evaluating specific criteria such as staff helpfulness, store cleanliness, product availability, and overall atmosphere.
- Interact with employees as required by the assignment guidelines (e.g., asking specific questions, making a purchase, inquiring about services).
- Accurately and thoroughly complete online reports detailing your experience and observations.
- Adhere to all guidelines, instructions, and ethical standards provided for each assignment.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all assignment details and findings.
- Submit receipts or other proof of visit/purchase as required for reimbursement or verification.

- Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Reliable access to a computer with internet connectivity and a printer.
- Access to reliable transportation.
