Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to join our e-commerce team in Portage la Prairie. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing our Shopify-based online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will be adept at product management, content updates, and implementing e-commerce best practices to drive sales and enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Shopify e-commerce platform, including product listings, collections, and inventory synchronization.
- Implement and update website content, promotions, banners, and landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
- Monitor website performance, identifying areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rates, and site speed.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and IT teams to launch new products, features, and campaigns.
- Ensure all product information, imagery, and pricing are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to the Shopify store.
- Stay informed on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
- Support SEO efforts by optimizing product descriptions, meta tags, and content.
- Analyze website data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with the Shopify platform (Shopify Plus experience a strong asset).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and online retail operations.
- Proficiency in product data management and content management systems.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and liquid templating for minor site adjustments.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
- Shopify certification or relevant e-commerce training.
- Experience with third-party Shopify apps and integrations.
