Job Description
Are you a motivated student looking for a dynamic role with weekly pay? XPO Logistics is seeking enthusiastic Student Warehouse Workers to join our New Port Richey team. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Sort and stage materials for outbound shipments or storage.
- Scan and track inventory accurately using handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (currently enrolled in higher education preferred).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physical labor role (even part-time or seasonal).
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
