Job Description
Join the Homebase team as a Patio Furniture Assembler for the vibrant summer season! We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to assist our customers with the assembly of their new patio furniture purchases. This temporary role is perfect for someone looking to earn extra income, gain practical experience, and contribute to making customers’ outdoor spaces beautiful and functional. You’ll be working hands-on, ensuring products are assembled correctly and efficiently, ready for our customers to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately assemble various types of patio furniture according to manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect all parts for damage or defects prior to assembly.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with loading assembled furniture into customer vehicles or preparing for delivery.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers regarding furniture assembly.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and diagrams.
- Basic proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25kg).
