Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and helping others? Teleperformance is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Level 1 IT Technical Support Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart or advance your career in IT support, working 100% remotely from the comfort of your home. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, providing crucial initial troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution. You will support a variety of hardware, software, and network-related problems, ensuring a smooth and efficient technical experience for our clients’ customers. We value problem-solvers with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and chat for various IT issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of user incidents and service requests.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate Level 2 support teams following established procedures.
  • Document all support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions, including setting up hardware, installing applications, and configuring systems.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, technical specifications, and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems and common software applications.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • High-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role.
  • Familiarity with macOS and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
