Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and highly accurate Warehouse Tally Man to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This stable, full-time role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulous counting, verification, and recording of incoming and outgoing goods, playing a vital part in our supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately count and verify quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists, invoices, and other documentation.
- Record all tally data precisely into inventory management systems or manual logs.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to supervisors.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all inventory movements.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation as needed.
- Ensure all products are correctly labeled and stored in their designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the tally area.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to facilitate efficient material flow.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and inventory forms.
- Proficiency in basic data entry (e.g., into computers or handheld devices).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS).
- Experience operating basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required for this specific role.
