Job Description

This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn and make a tangible difference in patient’s lives. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a clinical setting. You will work under the direct supervision of registered nurses and podiatrists, assisting with the delivery of essential foot care services to diverse patient populations. This role requires empathy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist podiatrists and registered nurses with routine foot care procedures, including cleaning, trimming, and moisturizing.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to established protocols.
- Educate patients on basic foot hygiene and care practices as instructed by supervising clinicians.
- Document patient interactions and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Provide compassionate support to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong empathy and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a clinical environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or caregiving role (volunteer or paid).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
