Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Algorithmic Data Verifier to join our innovative team in Preston, UK. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of large datasets processed through our proprietary algorithms. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of data quality, working closely with data scientists and engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies. Key Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous data verification processes using established algorithmic tools and methodologies.
- Proactively identify, investigate, and rectify inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies within complex datasets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and product teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data verification procedures, findings, and resolutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and refinement of existing data verification algorithms and tools.
- Provide clear and concise reports on data quality metrics and verification outcomes.
- Adhere strictly to data governance policies and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and root causes of data issues.
- Proficiency in using data verification software and tools.
- Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
