Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Deep Tissue Apprentice. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role designed for passionate individuals eager to learn the intricate art and science of deep tissue massage. Under the guidance of our experienced licensed massage therapists, you will undergo comprehensive training in advanced deep tissue techniques, client consultation, and spa operations. This position offers a clear pathway to becoming a certified Deep Tissue Specialist with significant earning potential through commission and gratuities. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the deep tissue massage apprenticeship program.
- Observe and assist licensed massage therapists during deep tissue sessions.
- Practice deep tissue techniques on practice clients and staff under supervision.
- Learn and apply proper body mechanics to prevent injury and ensure client comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms, including setting up equipment and ensuring cleanliness.
- Assist with client intake, health history forms, and post-session recommendations.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client care.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops as required.
- Adhere to all spa policies, procedures, and health regulations.
