Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates across all provinces in Canada. As a Shopify Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and evolving our online store presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Shopify platform, implementing new features, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive online sales and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Shopify e-commerce platform, including product listings, collections, and promotions.
- Implement and test new features, apps, and integrations to enhance store functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance, conduct A/B testing, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify store, themes, and apps.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to execute online campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices.
- Provide support for content updates and digital asset management within the Shopify environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify platform management (Shopify Plus experience a strong asset).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and online retail operations.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for front-end customization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Liquid templating language.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and implementation.
- Previous experience working with a major retail or lifestyle brand.
- Certification in Shopify or relevant e-commerce platforms.
