Job Description
Join the Purolator team as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver in Gaspé! We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to manage daily delivery routes, ensuring packages reach our customers safely and on time. A company van is provided, and you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a schedule that supports work-life balance, along with weekly pay. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages.
- Complete daily multi-drop delivery routes efficiently and accurately.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle with care.
- Verify correct package counts and ensure all deliveries are accounted for.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Handle delivery paperwork and electronic devices accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
- Adhere to scheduled delivery times and report any delays.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
- Strong geographical knowledge of Gaspé and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of using GPS and delivery scanning devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or courier services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
