Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for an Entry-Level Virtual Loan Processor Administrative Assistant role. This is a 100% remote position designed for individuals eager to start a career in the financial services industry, specifically in mortgage or lending operations. You will support our loan processing team by managing administrative tasks, organizing documentation, and ensuring a smooth workflow for loan applications. This is a foundational role where you will learn the intricacies of loan processing from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior loan processors with administrative tasks, including data entry and document organization.
  • Communicate with borrowers and third parties (e.g., appraisers, title companies) to gather necessary documentation.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan application documents.
  • Maintain electronic and physical loan files in an organized manner.
  • Schedule appointments and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Utilize internal software systems to track loan progress and update records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant lending regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
