Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload freight from vehicles onto conveyor systems or directly into designated areas.
- Sort packages by destination, ensuring accuracy and proper handling to prevent damage.
- Scan packages and update tracking information using handheld devices.
- Operate material handling equipment safely as required (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for night shift operations.
- Basic literacy skills (reading package labels, understanding instructions).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
