Job Description
Join Google New Zealand as a Remote Audio Sample Labeler, focusing on music and voice data. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of our AI and machine learning models by meticulously categorizing and annotating audio content. You will play a crucial role in improving voice recognition, music search, and other audio-driven features. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home anywhere in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately listen to and label audio samples, categorizing them based on predefined criteria related to music genres, vocal characteristics, speech content, and environmental sounds.
- Identify and transcribe specific vocalizations, musical instruments, and sound events within audio files.
- Maintain high levels of data quality and consistency by adhering strictly to labeling guidelines and standards.
- Provide feedback on labeling tools and guidelines to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Work independently to meet daily and weekly labeling quotas while ensuring quality output.
- Participate in calibration sessions and training to stay updated on evolving project requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent listening skills with a keen ear for audio nuances.
- Strong understanding of musical elements, genres, and vocal properties.
- Proficiency in English with strong comprehension and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adhere to strict guidelines.
