Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cold Storage Associate to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, pick, and put away products within the cold storage warehouse.
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain proper stock rotation.
- Verify product quantities and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, especially concerning working in cold environments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cold environment (freezing gear provided).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills for inventory and order verification.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
