Job Description
Are you passionate about beauty and sales? Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Beauty Brand Representative to join our team in Downtown Saskatoon. In this exciting full-time role, you will be the face of top beauty brands, engaging customers through compelling in-store product demonstrations and providing personalized beauty consultations. With a high base pay, you will be empowered to drive sales, educate consumers, and create memorable shopping experiences, without solely relying on commission. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative in-store product demonstrations for various beauty brands.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and application techniques.
- Achieve and exceed daily/weekly sales targets through expert product knowledge and persuasive communication.
- Provide personalized beauty consultations, recommending products tailored to individual customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain an immaculate and attractive product display area.
- Build lasting relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, product launches, and industry developments.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with the store management team to coordinate promotional events and strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence customers.
- Strong product knowledge of cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in cosmetology, aesthetics, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a brand ambassador or demonstrator.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
