Job Description

As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for documenting patient encounters in real-time, allowing our healthcare professionals to focus entirely on patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany physicians during patient examinations and accurately document the patient's medical history, physical exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Transcribe dictated information from providers efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with retrieving previous medical records, lab results, and imaging studies for review by the provider.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with providers, staff, and patients.
  • Learn and adapt to various medical specialties and terminology.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service environment.
