Job Description

Join the dynamic team at CE Rental as a Weekend Marquee Rigger. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who love working outdoors, are physically fit, and enjoy a high-energy environment. As a key member of our event setup crew, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation and dismantling of marquees, tents, and other event structures. This part-time role primarily involves weekend shifts, making it ideal for those seeking flexible work while contributing to exciting community and private events. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training, focusing on safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of event equipment, including tents, poles, and staging materials.
  • Participate in the professional and safe installation of marquees and various event tents according to specifications.
  • Ensure all rigging equipment is properly secured and maintained.
  • Dismantle tents and other structures post-event, ensuring all components are accounted for and prepared for transport.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and at the warehouse.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outdoor labor, construction, or event setup.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working at heights (with proper safety training).
