Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Online Records Assistant to join our data management team in Fontana, CA. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our extensive digital records. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-accuracy data entry, ensuring all online records are current, correct, and compliant with privacy regulations. This position requires an exceptional eye for detail, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently within strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume, high-accuracy data entry into various online record systems and databases.
- Verify and correct existing data to ensure completeness and accuracy of digital records.
- Categorize, index, and tag digital documents for easy retrieval and organization.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and company policies.
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues in data to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve data-related inquiries and support information requests.
- Assist in the migration of physical records to digital formats when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient and company information.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on data entry best practices and system changes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM with high accuracy).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification in data management, office administration, or a related field.
- Experience with healthcare information systems (e.g., EHR/EMR).
