Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our team in Santa Clara. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and operate various types of warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. We provide comprehensive multi-machine training to ensure you are proficient and confident in your role. As an Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial part in our inbound and outbound operations, moving products, loading/unloading shipments, and maintaining a smooth workflow in our fast-paced environment. Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, after comprehensive training.
  • Perform pre-operation safety checks on all equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
  • Assist with inventory management, including scanning, counting, and organizing stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (even entry-level).
  • Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
