Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser (Junior) to join our team in Henderson, NV. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies across multiple Target stores within the local area. This position requires daily travel to various retail locations to ensure products are displayed effectively, planograms are followed precisely, and our stores maintain an inviting and organized appearance. Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising plans and directives, including planogram implementation, product placement, and signage setup, in assigned Target stores.
- Ensure all products are adequately stocked, faced, and priced correctly according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential out-of-stock situations, communicating findings to store management.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays that enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with store leadership and team members at each location.
- Provide regular feedback and reports on merchandising effectiveness, store conditions, and competitive activities.
- Travel daily between various Target retail locations within the Henderson area using personal reliable transportation.
- Assist with product resets, seasonal transitions, and promotional campaigns as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and accurately execute planograms and merchandising directives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with store teams.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel daily within the local area.
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting and communication (email, online forms).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in retail, visual merchandising, or stock associate roles (even part-time).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or retail POS software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
