Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Data Clerk to join our team for a routine, ongoing work-from-home role. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in an independent work setting and possess excellent organizational skills. As a Remote Data Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining various types of data within our systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from various source documents into our internal systems and databases.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting errors as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Organize and file documents and data according to established procedures.
  • Perform regular data backups to ensure data security.
  • Generate reports and summaries of data as requested.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding data discrepancies or issues.
  • Adhere to company data entry guidelines and standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 45 WPM)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Basic understanding of data privacy principles
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably remote
  • Familiarity with various database software
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree is a plus
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
