Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aromatherapy Assistant to join our team at The Sanctuary Spa. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about essential oils and natural wellness, eager to learn and contribute to a peaceful, healing environment. The Aromatherapy Assistant will support our lead aromatherapists and spa team with light administrative tasks, essential oil preparation, inventory management, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our aromatherapy stations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in the therapeutic benefits of essential oils.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead aromatherapists in preparing custom essential oil blends for client treatments.
- Manage and organize essential oil inventory, including stocking, labeling, and tracking usage.
- Ensure aromatherapy stations are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
- Prepare diffusers and aromatherapy tools for daily use, ensuring proper function.
- Conduct light administrative duties such as scheduling, answering calls, and managing client inquiries related to aromatherapy services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of essential oils and their properties as guided by senior staff.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking new product deliveries, particularly essential oils and related supplies.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the spa environment.

- Strong interest in essential oils, aromatherapy, and holistic wellness.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness, or retail environment.
- Knowledge of various essential oils and their therapeutic uses.
- Certification or coursework in aromatherapy is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
