Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals for immediate hire as Temporary Playtesters. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and enjoyment of our upcoming game titles. You will be responsible for meticulously testing games, identifying bugs, and providing constructive feedback to our development teams. This role is crucial in ensuring our games deliver an immersive and flawless experience to millions of players globally. No prior experience is required; comprehensive orientation will be provided to equip you with all the necessary tools and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-defined test plans and perform ad-hoc testing on various game builds across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues with clear, concise details and steps to reproduce.
- Provide qualitative and constructive feedback on gameplay, mechanics, balance, game design, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate effectively with the Quality Assurance and Development teams to ensure high-quality game releases.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased game content and intellectual property.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, team discussions, and feedback sessions as required.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games and interactive entertainment across various genres.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for inconsistencies.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and execute test cases accurately and methodically.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting bugs and providing feedback.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as an integral part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with different game genres and platforms (PC, console, mobile) beyond casual play.
- Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps) is a plus but not required.
- Prior academic or professional experience in a quality assurance or testing role.
- Ability to articulate complex issues and suggestions clearly, constructively, and professionally.
