This entry-level, full-time position offers comprehensive, paid training designed to prepare you for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in paid training programs to learn pharmacy operations, terminology, and medication dispensing procedures.
- Assist pharmacists and certified technicians with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, under direct supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting patients, answering phones, and processing transactions at the register.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all health information.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with order placement.
- Learn and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Prepare for and sit for the PTCB certification exam, with company support and resources.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong commitment to learning and professional development

- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail setting
