Job Description
Join FedEx as a Peak Season Delivery Helper and play a crucial role in delivering smiles and packages during our busiest time of the year. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding temporary position, perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being active. You will assist our drivers with package delivery and pickup, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers in the Wesley Chapel area. Key Responsibilities
- Assist FedEx drivers with the loading and unloading of packages from delivery vehicles.
- Navigate routes and deliver packages to residential and business customers.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring safe and undamaged delivery.
- Obtain necessary signatures and follow delivery protocols.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.
- Work efficiently to meet daily delivery targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with the Wesley Chapel, FL area.
- Customer service experience.
