Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Music Lesson Coordinator to join our team in Sacramento. This administrative role is crucial to the smooth operation of our music lesson programs, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for students, parents, and instructors. The coordinator will be responsible for managing scheduling, enrollment, communication, and various administrative tasks, playing a vital role in our school’s success and our students’ musical journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate music lessons for all students and instructors, optimizing school resources.
  • Manage student enrollment processes, track attendance, and monitor student progress effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and instructors regarding schedules, payments, and program updates.
  • Handle billing and payment processing for lessons, ensuring accuracy and timely collection.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate student and instructor records using our internal systems.
  • Assist with promotional activities, marketing efforts, and student recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all school policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Provide general administrative support to the school director and other staff as needed.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and address student or parent inquiries efficiently and professionally.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within an educational or customer service environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • A genuine passion for music and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Music, Arts Administration, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience with scheduling software, CRM systems, or student management platforms.
  • Familiarity with various musical instruments and different music genres.
  • Previous experience working within an educational institution or a music-related business.
