Job Description

Join Capgemini as a Remote macOS Systems Administrator, providing critical enterprise IT support for our diverse global client base. This 100% remote role requires a proactive and experienced professional to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot macOS environments at an enterprise scale. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of macOS devices, supporting our users with advanced technical issues, and contributing to the implementation of new solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support for macOS operating systems and associated applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware and software issues on macOS devices.
  • Manage and administer macOS endpoint management solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune).
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain macOS devices, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., Shell, Python) to streamline macOS administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate macOS devices into the broader IT infrastructure.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and configurations to maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
  • Stay current with macOS developments, security vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a macOS Systems Administrator in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong proficiency with macOS operating systems (Ventura, Sonoma).
  • Expertise in macOS endpoint management tools (e.g., Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with identity management solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) for macOS.
  • Ability to write and understand shell scripts for automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC).
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory integration with macOS.
  • Experience with security tools and practices related to macOS.
