Job Description
Are you passionate about health, wellness, and creating exceptional experiences? We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Pilates Studio Host to be the face of our state-of-the-art Pilates studio in Kitchener. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all our members and guests. You’ll manage the studio’s daily operations, from greeting clients to supporting instructors, all while upholding our boutique standard of service in a modern and vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome all members and prospective clients to the Pilates studio, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage the studio's reception area, including check-ins, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive information about Pilates classes, membership options, and studio amenities.
- Assist with membership sales, renewals, and processing payments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio and reception area, ensuring it's always pristine.
- Support Pilates instructors with class preparation and client needs.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with excellent customer service.
- Assist with inventory management of retail products and studio supplies.
- Resolve client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic studio atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, proactive, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by studio operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fitness studio, spa, or boutique retail environment.
- Familiarity with Pilates or a strong interest in health and wellness.
- Experience with Mindbody or similar studio management software.
- Sales experience, particularly in membership services.
