Job Description

Are you passionate about live events and looking for a dynamic role where you can make a real impact? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Student Event Marshalls to join our team in West Valley City. This part-time position is perfect for students or individuals looking for flexible hours to support concerts, sporting events, and other major gatherings at local stadiums and arenas. As an Event Marshall, you will be the front line of our event operations, ensuring guest safety, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the smooth execution of every event. You’ll gain invaluable experience in event management, crowd control, and hospitality, all while being part of the excitement of live entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct guests to their assigned seating sections and facilities.
  • Monitor assigned areas for safety hazards, crowd flow, and compliance with venue policies.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, provide accurate information, and resolve minor issues with a friendly demeanor.
  • Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and medical incidents, under supervision.
  • Enforce venue rules and regulations fairly and consistently to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
  • Communicate effectively with event staff, security, and medical personnel.
  • Provide crowd control and queue management as needed.
  • Set up and tear down event signage and equipment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or event support roles.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid or emergency response procedures.
  • Enrollment in a college or university program (any field of study).
  • A passion for live music, sports, or entertainment.
