Job Description
Join The Parking Spot team as a Part-time Shuttle Driver focusing on weekend airport parking services. In this crucial role, you will be the first and last point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring a safe, timely, and pleasant shuttle experience between our parking facility and the Tri-Cities Airport (PSC). We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to upholding our high standards of service, primarily on weekends. This position is perfect for someone seeking consistent part-time hours with a friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently on a set schedule to transport customers between the parking facility and the airport.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shuttle vehicle, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions and assisting with directions as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding schedule adherence and any operational issues.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Strong sense of punctuality and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a shuttle driver or commercial driver.
- Knowledge of the Pasco area and Tri-Cities Airport layout.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
