Job Description
We are seeking a highly empathetic and detail-oriented Online Moderator Junior to join our team, specifically focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of 14-year-old teens across Google’s platforms. This entry-level, fully remote position is ideal for individuals passionate about digital safety, online community guidelines, and protecting young users from harmful content. You will play a critical role in reviewing user-generated content, identifying violations of our strict safety policies, and contributing to a positive and secure online experience for teenagers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review user-generated content submitted by or targeted at 14-year-old teens across various Google platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
- Identify and take appropriate action on content violating policies, including graphic, explicit, hateful, or harmful material.
- Escalate complex cases or potential legal issues to senior moderators or specialized teams as necessary.
- Provide constructive feedback on evolving content trends and policy effectiveness.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content review and moderation tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with current online safety best practices, platform policies, and digital trends relevant to teens.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- High level of empathy and understanding towards diverse online communities, particularly teen users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with various digital platforms and online communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications
