Job Description

As an essential team member designated “20” at our Wesley Chapel location, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive environment for both our customers and fellow associates. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining Publix’s high standards of service and operational excellence. You will contribute to creating an enjoyable shopping experience by assisting with various support functions across the store, ensuring product availability, cleanliness, and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, rotating products, and organizing storage areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, ensuring a safe and presentable environment.
  • Provide support to various departments as needed, adapting to dynamic store requirements.
  • Handle product returns, damages, and transfers efficiently and accurately.
  • Operate essential store equipment safely and responsibly after appropriate training.
  • Uphold Publix's commitment to customer service by maintaining a helpful and friendly demeanor.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or stock rotation procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
