Job Description
Are you passionate about photography and video, and eager to share your knowledge with others? As an Apple Creative with a Photography & Video Teaching focus, you will be an inspiring and patient guide, helping customers unlock their creativity and master Apple products. You’ll lead engaging workshops, provide one-on-one coaching, and demonstrate the power of Apple’s ecosystem for capturing, editing, and sharing visual stories. This role is about fostering a vibrant learning environment and building strong relationships within our community, ensuring every customer feels confident and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic group workshops and one-on-one sessions focused on photography and video techniques using Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and software (Photos, iMovie, Final Cut Pro).
- Educate customers on core photographic principles, videography best practices, and creative editing workflows.
- Inspire customers to explore their artistic potential and help them achieve their personal photography and video goals.
- Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for photography and video-related inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Apple products, software updates, and photography/videography trends.
- Support general store operations, including product demonstrations, sales assistance, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
- Actively listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the retail team to enhance the overall customer experience and promote learning opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise and passion for photography and videography.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and inspire individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Strong proficiency with Apple products including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and relevant software (Photos, iMovie, Keynote).
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with professional photo/video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Previous experience in a teaching, training, or retail environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating photography and video work.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
