Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Banquet Porters to join our dynamic events team on a casual hire basis at Ellenborough Park in Cheltenham. As a Banquet Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of a variety of large-scale events, from elegant weddings to grand corporate functions. Your main responsibilities will involve the efficient setup and breakdown of event spaces, safe transportation of equipment, and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a luxury hospitality environment while accommodating other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently set up and break down event rooms and banqueting areas according to detailed event specifications and layouts.
- Safely and effectively transport tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other event equipment.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and various event equipment.
- Ensure all event equipment is meticulously cleaned, well-maintained, and stored correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all banqueting areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
- Collaborate closely with the Banqueting and Food & Beverage teams to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests from event organisers, guests, and other team members.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with any other duties as required to support the smooth and successful operation of events.

- Strong physical stamina and endurance, capable of standing and moving for extended periods.
