Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Server to join our esteemed team at The Grand Brighton Hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early riser who enjoys providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-end environment. You will play a crucial role in starting our guests’ day right, ensuring a delightful breakfast experience with your warm welcome and efficient service. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the breakfast area, ensuring all items are stocked and presented beautifully.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations as needed.
- Serve breakfast items and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Clear tables and reset them swiftly for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area throughout service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and closing procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently commit to early morning shifts (6 am starts).
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality or food service role.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
